Britt reconsiders commitment

Bayonne, N.J. wide receiver Kenny Britt committed to Illinois back on Saturday. The 6-foot-4, 191-pounder may not be quite done with his recruitment as Rutgers may have sneaked back into the picture.
"It appears that Rutgers now is the team to beat," said former Bayonne head coach Rick Rodriguez. "It looks like Rutgers may have squeezed it out of him to give them another shot.

"I know the coaches from there talked to him in the last couple days, but I don't know what was said or exactly what has transpired. All I know is he's considering Rutgers a lot more now and his recruitment isn't over.
"On Saturday, he told me he was all set and headed to go to Illinois, but then I found this news out on Monday. I still think there is a good chance he may go to Illinois though."
Rodriguez didn't know when the four-star prospect plans to announce his official decision.
Britt is rated the No. 22 wide receiver in the country and No. 5 player in New Jersey.
