ATLANTA -- K.J. Britt’s recruitment includes semantics. The four-star linebacker declines to name a list of frontrunners. In the next breath, he doesn’t mind rattling off a list of schools on which he’s focusing. Britt has a measured approach.
“It’s Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Stanford, Auburn … and a few others,” Britt said. “I can’t really name all of them right now.”
Britt recently returned from a visit to Georgia and arrived at the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge in a red Bulldogs’ t-shirt. The trip was one that has become a bit familiar to the to the Alabama-based prospect.
“I got to chill with the players and the coaches,” Britt said. “But it was, like, my fifth time there. It was nothing new.”
IN HIS WORDS: “I’m really liking LSU right now. I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feeling by naming top schools, but I’m really liking LSU.”
RIVALS REACTION: Auburn and Stanford remain the teams to beat for Britt, but Georgia and LSU seem to be gaining ground. Britt is yet to set a timetable for a verbal commitment.
