Briscoe schedules Pac-12 trip

Eric Briscoe Jr. is up to seven scholarship offers and an eighth could very well be on its way.
The three-star outside linebacker from Yakima (Wash.) A C Davis is scheduled to officially visit Utah this coming weekend without currently holding an offer from the Utes. That could all change if things go well, of course.

Utah's involvement could be massive for Briscoe's recruitment, perhaps signaling the beginning of a frenzy given that there are several other Pac-12 programs monitoring his situation.

WHAT'S NEXT?: The 6-foot-3, 215-pound prospect hasn't locked in any other trips, but he intends to take some following his senior season. Briscoe has been to Oregon before and said he has been in contact with assistant coach Don Pellum recently, so the Ducks could potentially be an option down the road.
IN HIS WORDS: "I'm looking forward to being able to experience the gameday atmosphere up there at Utah," Briscoe told Rivals.com. "The coaches have said they love my film and that they would offer me, but they just want to meet me in person and size me up. I'm just excited to get out there and see what it's like."
