Brinkley on the brink of visits
St. Louis Beaumont two-star athlete Niles Brinkley was one of the top performers at the Manhattan NIKE Camp this past spring and he has had consistent recruiting attention, but not much has been heard from him the past few months – until now.
"I'm still looking at a lot of schools," Brinkley, who is 5-foot-10 and 176 pounds, said.

"I'm taking an official visit to Alabama State on January 20. Then Kansas and Miami of Ohio are also talking to me quite a bit.
"Miami and Alabama State have talked to me about an offer."
Brinkley was previously getting attention from Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas State, Michigan State and Missouri, but he did not say they were recruiting him anymore.
