Bright takes in Purdue game

Bryn Mawr (Pa.) Harriton defensive tackle Callahan Bright was supposed to be taking his first official visit of the recruiting year to Purdue this weekend. Did it happen?
"It wasn't an official visit, we paid for everything ourselves," said the 6-foot-2, 315-pounder's mother, Denise. "We were just going to see Eugene play because we had a chance to. Callahan didn't have a host or anything and it wasn't official."

Bright, who is ranked as the No. 5 player overall in the country, apparently hasn't set any official visit dates yet.
"Not that I know of," said his mother. "You'll have to ask him yourself though, I don't know if he scheduled any yet."
Bright has been listing Florida State, Miami, Oklahoma, Nebraska, LSU, Southern Cal, Texas A&M and Purdue as his favorites. However, he stated early in the process that he would prefer to play down south.
Bright hasn't played much at all this season due to different suspensions for different reasons.
"I know this sounds strange but I really can't say much about the situation except it is crazy." said Harriton coach Harold Smith.
