"I talked to the defensive coordinator after. He let me know that they have no need for safeties, but he was going to look to see if they have any slots left."
Duke is just one of a few teams waiting to see if they have offers available.
"All the North Carolina schools are, NC State, Wake Forest, Duke and North Carolina," he said. "Michigan is starting to be heavily interested. That's a school I'm really waiting on as well. Michigan has talked a lot about coming up on a visit."
At this time, Bridges continues to hold offers from four other teams, Central Michigan, East Carolina, Towson and Presbyterian.
On the season, Bridges has impressed.
"We just beat Independence 61-6," he said. "That was a real good game. I had an interception and about 10 tackles or so.
"I'm sitting at about three interceptions on the year and 90 tackles or something. I get a lot on special teams on kickoffs. Almost every single time I get one."
