Bridge updates his recruiting status

Berwyn (Pa.) Conestoga wide receiver Dexter Bridge recently took an unofficial visit to NC State and he thoroughly enjoyed his time in Raleigh.
He came away a bit less sure of where he stands with the Wolfpack, though, as it turns out the offer they have extended him is only a verbal offer. Bridge is still waiting for the written offer to come through, but he's willing to wait because he had a great time on his trip.

The 6-foot-2, 185-pound receiver is hoping to visit some other schools before the end of the season if his schedule allows him to do it.
"Villanova's two minutes down the street so I'm going to their Homecoming game this weekend," he said. "Syracuse asked for my senior highlight film so I'm getting that together to send off to them.
"Illinois has been inviting me to games but it's been tough with my schedule for football. I'm still looking to visit Illinois but I'm not sure when."
Bridge's senior season has been difficult. While the team has a winning record Bridge hasn't caught as many passes as he would have liked.
"We're doing okay," he said. "We expected to be if not the top team in the league the second team. The other team we were competing with is the number one team in the state but they're a beatable team. We ended up losing to them this year. We're 4-3 right now and had a couple of tough losses. We have a young defense. Our skill position players on offense are seniors but our young defense is going through some growing pains. They're starting to come together though."
