Bridge looks back on camps

Berwyn (Pa.) Conestoga wide receiver Dexter Bridge has been busy so far this summer, visiting three of the schools that have shown interest in him.
With offers from Illinois and NC State in hand, Bridge is happy with where he sits but still hoping for more good news from some other schools. He doesn't plan on making a decision soon, as he wants to take all of his official visits first.

"Last weekend I was at Michigan State on Saturday," Bridge recalled. "I drove from Michigan to Baltimore for the Under Armour combine and on Monday I took a trip to Boston for (the Boston College) camp there.
"Michigan State was a camp and I felt it went really well. I had a lot of fun. The coach afterward said I had a good day. He said pretty much I'm still on the board in the recruiting process. They're going to review everything and let me know. The thing I need to work on is my speed. That's what he told me.
"Boston College went well. They said they like my hands and my size and everything. They said speed is a good thing but it's not all they're looking for. They said they're going to go back and talk it over as a coaching staff. They said me making a trip up there left a big impact and it showed I wanted to be there."
Bridge was actually at Rutgers on Saturday for a 7-on-7 tournament. Instead of asking him to make a return trip for a camp later the coaches allowed the event to serve as a time to evaluate Bridge.
"Afterward the Rutgers wide receivers coach said I had a real good day and he told me to call him back," he noted.
Bridge is ranked the No. 70 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 10 prospect in Pennsylvania.
Last fall Bridge caught 29 passes for 756 yards and 11 touchdowns.
