Brent has busy week

Bloomington (Ill.) Central Catholic defensive lineman Josh Brent was busy last week as he stopped at three Big Ten schools.
"I went to Michigan and Michigan State earlier in the week," Brent said. "I worked out at both of them.

"I didn't work out at Ohio State's camp (on Friday). I got there a little late. So I was just on an unofficial visit."
"I talked to Doc Tressel," Brent said. "I met all the coaches, but I talked to coach (Jim) Heacock and Jim Tressel. Those were the three I mainly talked to."
Brent stayed overnight in Columbus on Friday, then had a tour of the stadium on Saturday.
"Ohio State is great," he said. "Looking at the facilities and what they are adding on, I would have to say they have the best facilities I've seen. At least they are going to have the best when they are finished. What they are going to have will be the best in the country."
However Brent is far from ready to say Ohio State is his leader.
"I liked it at Michigan and Michigan State too," he said. "They both have good facilities. I liked their coaches. And they have good facilities.
"I have 13 offers now. I would like to narrow things down to five to seven schools in August."
Brent, a 6-foot-3 and 280-pounder, has scholarship offers from Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Arizona State and Western Michigan.
