Breneman planning visits

With early recruiting, usually the glamour positions receive the most publicity and attention. However, for 2013 tight end Adam Breneman of Camp Hill (Pa.) Cedar Cliff, he has already thrown his name into the national recruiting picture for next year.
"Recruiting has been very exciting," said Breneman, who is 6-foot-5 and 225-pounds. "I have really been caught off guard at how fast the recruiting process took off. It seems like last month I was dreaming about getting all these offers and now it's a reality. It's great to see some hard work start to pay off."

Breneman is up to eight offers, with his three most recent coming from Alabama, Michigan and Maryland. Several other programs have also been showing serious interest.
"Florida, Pitt, Penn State, UNC, Michigan State and Syracuse have been showing a lot of interest," he said.
So far Breneman has taken two visits and has four more lined up for next month.
"I visited Rutgers and BC in the spring and I plan on visiting Maryland, Alabama, Notre Dame and Virginia in June," said Breneman. "They're all for normal visits. I am also camping for a day at Penn State in late June."
While it is very early in his process, Breneman was asked if any schools have been standing out to him so far.
"Every school I've heard from I like a lot so far," he said. "As of right now I am keeping my options open. Hopefully after I visit schools this summer and bring in all the offers I will get, I can start to narrow things down. If everything goes right, I would like to make a decision before my senior year."
Finally, Breneman also discussed his ongoing preparation for his junior season.
"It's going great," he said. "I have been training hard, getting stronger and putting on weight, so I can become more of a complete tight end and not just a receiving tight end."
