Bredesons ND visit may be hard to top

Four-star Hartland (Wisc.) Arrowhead offensive tackle Ben Bredeson made his first college game visit of the season this weekend to Notre Dame, and expects the experience will be hard to top.
"It was incredible," Bredeson said. "Once I finally got to go into the stadium, saw the new turf and the whole game environment, it was insane. It was really fun to be there."

Bredeson made the drive down with his parents, and was able to connect with the Notre Dame coaches after the game.
"I had Saturday morning practice and then we got caught up in Chicago traffic, so I joined the recruit's itinerary a little late," he said. "I just talked with (Harry) Hiestand after the game and (Mike) Denbrock a little bit. Hiestand was just trying to get me and Tommy Kraemer down there again on a visit."
Bredeson (No. 36) and Kraemer (No. 20) are the two highest ranked Midwest offensive line prospects in the 2016 Rivals100, and their Notre Dame visits gave them a chance to connect.
"He was a good guy and that was the first time I got to talk with him," Bredeson said. "I also met Jake Hausmann from Ohio and (Tristen) Hoge I sat next to during the game. We talked for ten minutes after the game on why he committed there and what he liked. He gave his recruiting spiel to me and Tommy and told us about all the values he liked about (Notre Dame)."
Notre Dame has held Bredeson's attention since they offered in June, but their stock is rising after Saturday's visit.
"You always hear about the tradition and the fan base, but once you get to see it in person it is an entirely new story," Bredeson said. "I was lucky enough to be able to experience it, especially for a big game like Michigan. I got to see the best that Notre Dame had to offer for game day. I'm going to go around to other schools for games, but it will be hard to beat what Notre Dame had."
After a late drive home Saturday night, Bredeson was able to discuss the trip with his parents Sunday morning and get their feedback.
"This morning Mom said she could see me going there," Bredeson said. "Once you get mom's stamp of approval, then it is actually a school you can put on your list."
Bredeson's next game visit likely will be to one of Wisconsin's next couple home games. He is considering visiting Michigan on Oct. 11 and expects to return to Notre Dame for at least one more game this season.
