Bredeson talks new interest

Class of 2016 offensive lineman Ben Bredeson has pulled in seven offers already, and more schools continue to show new interest this spring.
"Stanford came by," Bredeson reported. "They have a lot of interest in me and I have a lot of interest in them. That would be a nice school to head out West for.

"I know Notre Dame is supposed to be coming by at some point soon. If they end up offering that would be another big one too."
Michigan State's interest is not new - they were actually the first program he made a recruiting visit to. The Spartans have not yet offered, though that could be just a matter of time.
"Michigan State stopped by one day and he told me, 'We have a lot of interest in you and you're an early offer guy probably a guy for us,'" Bredeson said. "I have interest in them. They were the first school that noticed me and gave me a visit. I am going to go up there again."
Rutgers is the most recent offer for Bredeson. Iowa State, Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio State, Tennessee and Wisconsin are also on that list.
With seven offers already on the table the 6-foot-4, 280-pound Bredeson does not plan to attend any college camps this summer, but he is looking to make additional campus visits.
"I'm definitely going back out to Madison in the next few weeks to check everything out there," Bredeson said. "I haven't really had a one-on-one visit to check out the academics there. I talked to Coach (T.J.) Woods last week and I think we're going to do something in the next week or two."
Bredeson also has interest in making the relatively short drive from his Hartland, Wisc., home to check out Northwestern this summer.
