Four-star offensive center Mark Brazinski will be taking an official visit this weekend. Rivals caught up with the 6-foot-3, 297-pounder to find out where he'll be headed on his third official.
"I'm going to California," he said. "First off, it's a very good academic school and they have a good reputation for football. It doesn't hurt that it's snowing here and it's warm over there.
"Plus, according to U.S. News and World Reports they have the third business school in the country. That's a pretty good reputation and I understand they are going to their seventh straight bowl game."
At this time, California hasn't offered Brazinski.
"They haven't offered yet, they actually haven't mentioned it. I'll find out more this weekend."
The No. 6 prospect in New Jersey has already visited Boston College and North Carolina for officials. Does he have any other trips coming up?
"Not right now," he said. "I'll take them as it comes. I've got to see what happens. I'm looking for a place that fits me.
"I thought I was narrowing my list and then California called during the week and asked for a visit. I don't think I'm quite ready to narrow it yet."
