Brazinski returns from Cal

Four-star offensive center Mark Brazinski took his third and possibly final official visit this past weekend. The 6-foot-3, 297-pounder made his way to the West Coast to check out California.
"It was fun. It was warm and I got to wear shorts the entire time," he said. "I got there Friday and I toured around the campus, went to San Francisco and just had a lot of fun.

"I attended about a quarter of a basketball game. It was fun seeing the students enjoying themselves. They were in good spirits. We went to AT&T Park and watched a recruiting video on the jumbotron.
"I also went to a practice for their bowl game. I got to see how they practice and there is a big difference between high school and college. They were very organized and it was fun to watch. Their scout team was in orange and green jerseys to mimic Miami."
Brazinski was hosted on the trip by lineman Mark Boskovich.
"He was a cool guy," he said. "I got to meet all the offensive line. I went to In and Out Burger and those are some good burgers.
"I could tell by being with them there is a good emphasis on football and getting a very good degree."
Before heading out, the lineman met wit the coaches.
"I talked to Coach Cignetti and Coach Tedford," he said. "You could tell Coach Cignetti has a very good offensive mind, that was comforting. He is good at explaining how the system works and got me to understand it as a recruit.
"Coach Tedford is very down-to-earth. He's got good control over his schemes and I can see where he's taken the program from and where it's going. He's very god at what he does."
Brazinski added a final note on his trip.
"It was fun, I loved wearing shorts and being around palm trees. They did offer me on the visit as well."
While on the trip, Brazinski picked up an offer from Syracuse as well.
"I'm not sure about them, I've got to sit down and find out more about them."
The No. 6 prospect in New Jersey could be very close to a decision.
"I'm going to sit down and think about my options," he said. "I'm strongly considering announcing at the Under Armor All-Star game.
"I can say I'm definitely considering the schools I've taken officials to and a few Ivy League schools like Penn, Harvard and Princeton."
What does Brazinski think about the upcoming game?
"I head out on the 28th for the game and I'm looking forward to it," he said. "It should be fun and fast-paced. I've done a lot of agility and footwork. I look forward to meeting other good athletes and playing against them."
