Durham (N.C.) Mt. Zion wide receiver Tehvyn Brantley plans to take an unofficial this week. Where is the 5-foot-8, 161-pounder headed?
"I think I'm going to North Carolina for their Thursday night game versus Florida State," he said. "That would be for an unofficial.
"I want to go to see the team more, watch them warm up, that sort of thing."
The three-star prospect maintains no decision is coming.
"It might happen soon, but I'm hearing from a lot of different schools," he said. "I have offers from Buffalo, Central Michigan, South Carolina, North Carolina and Wyoming."
Brantley picked up the South Carolina a little while back.
"It's been awhile, but I'm definitely going to take an official there. My only officials for a fact I can say are North Carolina and South Carolina. I haven't set any dates though."
Brantley discussed South Carolina further.
"It's a great family oriented school," he said. "They like to put the ball in the air and the receivers are always on the field."
A few other schools including NC State and South Florida are also interested.
So far this season, the No. 27 prospect in North Carolina has posted over 1,000 all-purpose yards and 16 touchdowns.
"I'm just doing what my team needs me to," he said. "I'm doing my part.
"I'm making plays with the ball in my hands. I'm more skilled and have better vision. I'm seeing holes better and getting off the line."
