Brantley lands his first offer

Charlotte (N.C.) Victory Christian wide receiver Tehvyn Brantley pulled in his first offer not too long ago. The 5-foot-8, 161-pounder landed the scholarship from the MAC.
"I got my first offer a couple weeks ago from Central Michigan," he said. "I'm happy with the offer, it's a relief off my shoulders."

Brantley is getting invitations to many more camps.
"I have already traveled to Michigan, Missouri, Purdue, Toledo NC State and Duke," he said. "I'm headed to Illinois, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Virginia Tech and Bowling Green soon."
Is anyone close to offering?
"Michigan is looking at me heavily and I think there is a very good chance they'll offer based on what they've told me.
"Right now I'd say Michigan and Missouri are up there. I love those two schools. Michigan showed me a lot of interest and Coach Rodriguez liked my work ethic and how I compete. I love the offense at Missouri, they put the ball in the air."
With interest rising, what does Brantley want in a college?
"First of all I'm looking for an education and somewhere I can use my major. I want to go into sports medicine," he said. "I love playing for a big crowd, so I want to see how big the fan base is and then my parents want me close to home."
