Brandt lands interest from Alabama, LSU

Breland Brandt is already a big name in the 2016 class and now he's receiving some major SEC interest.
Neither Alabama nor LSU has offered yet but the Los Angeles Windward defensive end said both programs have reached out and he's seriously considering trips to both Tuscaloosa and Baton Rouge this summer.

"LSU came by the school about a week or two ago to see Roy (Hemsley) and I and I've been getting letters from them also," Brandt said.
"I talked to coach Tosh Lupoi from Alabama and he said they're really interested in me. They want to recruit me really hard."
So far, the 6-foot-3, 208-pound prospect has been offered by Arizona State, Cal, Colorado, Miami, San Diego State, UCLA, USC, Utah and Washington.
Landing the new SEC interest definitely interests Brandt, who said he will definitely take a closer look at Alabama and LSU and is open to all programs at this point. Plenty of other teams are sending mail to the 2016 standout as well.
"It makes me feel really good and it makes me want to work even harder," Brandt said. "It's definitely a great feeling to know the best of the best want me to come play for them.
"I'm actually deciding right now when we'll be able to go out there. You don't turn down a school like Alabama or LSU and they've given me an opportunity to come to their camp so I'm going to try to make the best of that."
The Los Angeles Windward defensive end is also planning to work out at USC and UCLA this summer. Other stops are also not out of the question as Brandt works out the remainder of his schedule.
