Offers blew up for Atco (N.J.) Winslow Township wide receiver Brandon Jones last month. With all the offers in, has the 6-foot-1, 175-pounder scheduled more officials?
"Actually, I just got an offer the other day from Toledo," he said. "I like their program since they throw the ball a lot. That offer drew my interest. I'm looking at an official there this weekend.
"I was supposed to go to Rutgers this Friday. I might push that to next weekend and then I may go to William & Mary and it looks like I'm headed to Virginia on the 25th."
What does Jones want to see on his trips?
"I just want to check out the environment of the area, coaches and players and the overall facilities," he said. "I've already been to Rutgers and Virginia on junior days. I know them more, I don't know as much about Toledo."
A few other schools that haven't offered are still showing interest including Boston College, Syracuse and Pittsburgh.
At this point, the Garden State prospect plans to hold off on a decision until right before Signing Day.
"I'll narrow it down to a top two and make a decision at the end of January."
