Branch impressed with Michigan visit

"I was at the Michigan-Illinois game," lineman Alan Branch said. "It was an official visit. It was my second official visit."

The 6-foot-6 and 315 pound Branch, from Albuquerque (N.M.) Cibola, is the Rivals.com number 20 offensive tackle. However he said Michigan is recruiting him as a defensive tackle.
Branch is playing defensive tackle and tight end his senior season. He has led Cibola to a 4-2 record.
