Brace to visit UConn

Offensive guard Ron Brace from Worchester (Mass.) Burncoat is still in the midst of his senior year of football, but has begun to set up his official visits. He has one already scheduled and has three more in the works.
Brace will be traveling to UConn on Dec. 12, and has discussed arrangements with BC, Hofstra, and Northeastern, but hasn’t set dates yet. He may take his fifth trip, but is not sure at this point.

Ron currently boasts offers from UMass, UConn, Northeastern, and BC, but is waiting to take his visits before naming any leaders. He plans to make a commitment in mid-January, but will be looking at several things on his trips.
“I want to see if I fit in, and if the campus is the place for me,” he said. “I want a place that feels comfortable.”
Brace stands 6-foot-4, weighs 310 pounds, and runs the 40-yard dash in 5.0 seconds. He has led Burncoat to a 9-2 record with two games remaining.
He is an “A,B,C” student with an 850 on the SAT. He recently took the exam again with hopes of a better score. He plans to major in either business or psychology.
