Brace postpones UConn visit

Worchester (Ma.) Burncoat offensive guard Ron Brace was scheduled to take an official visit to UConn this weekend. However, there was a change in plans.
"No, I didn't go to UConn this weekend," said the 6-foot-4, 310-pound offensive guard. "I had some stuff going on this weekend and it just wasn't the best time to go. I'm going to reschedule it though, and I'll go there sometime in January."

Brace has official visits set up to Northeastern (Dec. 19) and Hofstra (Jan. 2). Does he plan on setting up any more trips?
"I'd like to go to Boston College sometime," he said. "Nothing is set up yet, but I'll probably go there in January. Once I set that and the UConn trip up, I'll have four official visits and that might be all I'll take."
Brace said his three leaders were Boston College, UConn and Northeastern. Do any of those three schools stand out as a top choice?
"Boston College is No. 1 now," he said. "I like them because of their academic tradition. They're moving to a great conference and are competitive every year. I think it would be a great fit. I'm not sure what will happen yet, but I know BC is looking like a nice option."
