Boyster raves about Rodriguez talks

Beau Boyster has had numerous conversations with new Arizona coach Rich Rodriguez and the three-star center from Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco has raved about what he's hearing so far.
Boyster, a 6-foot-4, 285-pound prospect, said Rodriguez has impressed him during their conversations and he remains fully committed to the Wildcats even though he's planning to take some other visits.

"I'm still committed to Arizona 100 percent and I love coach Rich Rod," Boyster said. "We talk all the time. He's honest and comes off as a great guy and you can just sense how excited he is to coach again.
"I have asked him a lot of questions about him personally and what he can do for me as a coach and they have all been great answers.
"I really like coach Rich Rod. I'm just waiting on who they hire at my position. I like him so much thus far because he is making a constant effort to recruit me and he really likes the way I play."
Boyster plans to visit Arizona the weekend of Dec. 9, then go to Oregon on Dec. 16 and he's still trying to figure out a date for TCU.
Utah State is planning to have an in-home visit with Boyster on Monday and then Oregon offensive line coach Steve Greatwood could stop by Tuesday. Others could happen as well.
Illinois had been considered one of the top teams for Boyster but he said after coach Ron Zook was fired he hasn't heard anything at all from the Illini. It appears Illinois is sliding out of consideration.
Rivals.com rates Boyster as the fourth-best center in the 2012 class. St. John Bosco's season came to a close last weekend with a 42-24 loss to San Clemente.
