Boyles sure of two visits

Gardena (Calif.) Serra wide out Anthony Boyles had a huge season opener last Friday which resulted in a new school picking up their recruitment of him. That school was the No. 4 rated USC Trojans but will the local school be able to crack the athletes current top four?

Boyles, 6-2, 185 pounds is one of the top receiver prospects in the West region. He has size, speed and athleticism and has all the tools to be a very good player at the next level.
This past weekend, Serra took on a talented Peninsula (Calif.) squad and although the Cavaliers fell 40-32, Boyles was the best player on the field that day.
"I had a good game and felt really good out there," Boyles said. "I caught 10 passes for 140 yards and two touchdowns. USC was at the game and they called me this week saying they were impressed and were going to start recruiting me now.
"They also invited me to the Nebraska game this weekend but I'm not sure if I'm going to go or not. All these other schools like Washington, Oregon and Cal have been on for awhile now and I didn't get a sniff from SC until they saw me play, that kind of doesn't sit well with me. I feel kind of loyal to the schools that have been with me from the beginning.
"Along with SC, I've also gotten calls from Fresno State, Washington and Oregon. I haven't set up any of my visits yet but I know I'm for sure going to trip to Washington and Oregon. Those are my top two with Washington having a slight lead. I like Cal and Nebraska too although I'm not really hearing much from Nebraska.
"I would like to commit at Senior Night which is our last game of the season in week 10. It's a cool deal, they introduce all the seniors and our parents are there with us. That would be a cool time to do it so I can commit in front of my family and teammates. Hopefully I'll be able to take my trips before then, which is my plan right now, so I can be ready to make my decision for Senior Night."
