Boyles ready for visit No. 1
Colorado is poised for a huge recruiting weekend coming up and one player headed to Boulder to check things out is Gardena (Calif.) Serra wide out Anthony Boyles. This will be Boyles first official visit of the year and four schools stand out to the athlete right now.

Boyles, 6-3, 185 pounds is a tremendous athlete who is playing on both sides of the ball but is being recruited strictly for receiver, which is his personal preference.
"I'm having a pretty good year right now," Boyles said. "I don't know my exact numbers but on offense I have around 36 catches for 600 yards and eight touchdowns and I also returned a kick 87 yards for a score last week.
"No one can really cover me and I feel like I can score almost every time I touch the ball. On defense, I have 36 tackles and one interception so far and I missed one game earlier in the year as well."
The trip to Colorado came together pretty recently for Boyles as they just offered him two weeks ago.
"Early in the year, they liked me for defense and I wasn't really in to that," Boyles said. "Then two weeks ago, I got a call from them and they offered me and said they liked me for receiver now. They said they need a big play guy and feel I could come in and play early there.
"I also have a tentative visit set for Nebraska for (Nov. 24) but I haven't heard from them in a long time so I'm not sure what's up with the visit. I'm definitely going to visit Oregon and Washington too but I don't have any dates yet with either of them. I'll probably go sometime in December.
"I have no idea about a 5th trip or even if I'll take it. I'm just going to take my four trips first and see what happens. I'm still open to anyone who wants to recruit me and I would like to take all five visits if I can. The number one thing I'm looking for is early playing time. My ultimate goal is to play in the NFL so the sooner I can get on the field and make an impact, the better.
"My relationship with the coaching staff is always real important. I don't want to go somewhere where I won't get along with head coach or my position coach. Of all the schools recruiting me, I probably feel the closest to Coach Yarber at Washington. I like Coach Pellum at Oregon and Coach Kiesau at Colorado as well."
