Boyles, 6-3, 185 pounds took his first official visit to Boulder this past weekend and raved about his time.
" It was a great experience, a lot better than I expected," Boyles said. "We played Friday night so I left early Saturday and got there in the morning. After checking in to the hotel, we all headed over to the stadium and that was one of the highlights of the visit for me.
"I loved that stadium and it was awesome seeing how hyped the fans get there. The team played well and I loved everything about the game. The uniforms, the offense they run, the opportunity to play early there, everything was perfect.
"The weather was a little cold and it snowed today but I actually kind of liked it. We don't get to see the seasons here so it was nice to experience that. On Sunday we toured the campus and met with the coaches.
"I told them how much I liked it there and I meant it. Going in to the visit, I really didn't know what to expect but like I said, everything was better than I thought it would and now Colorado is definitely high on my list. Oregon and Washington were on top before the weekend but you can put Colorado right up there with those two.
"I'm still going to take my visits and never thought about committing because this was my first trip. I still have Nebraska (Nov. 24) and I'm definitely going to visit Oregon and Washington before I make my decision."
