Boyles checking out new options

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - A big reason why Rivals250 wide receiver Anthony Boyles committed to Washington was his relationship with his future position coach, Eric Yarber. At the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl, things have certainly changed.
His relationship with Yarber remains good, but the former Huskies staff member is now at Arizona State. That has the 6-foot-3, 185-pound Boyles talking about opening up his options to three other schools.

"I'm still committed to Washington," Boyles said. "I just don't know if I'm still going there right now. I'm looking at them, Oregon, Colorado, and Arizona State.
"When I committed to Washington, I was all set to go and solid. When coach Yarber left, I thought there would be others. Right now I'm looking at those other schools."
Boyles says that he likes the playing time chances he has at Oregon and Colorado. Arizona State is the new home of primary Washington recruiter Yarber.
"I don't have the dates, but I'm going to visit Arizona State and Oregon in January," Boyles said. "Then I'll go ahead and decide at the end of January. I'm going to have to talk all of this over with my family to find out what's best for me."
Boyles says that playing on the same field as receivers like Dez Bryant and DeAngelo Benton has been special for him. He definitely thinks they have what it takes to defeat the East team in this Thursday's game on ESPNU.
"We're all quick off the ball," he said. "Personally, my best trait is being able to read the coverages and make that first step count."
