Boyd-Anderson sets first visit

Things are slowly coming together for Jacksonville, Texas running back Carmon Boyd-Anderson.
With his senior season behind him, recruiting is now the main focus. The 6-foot-1, 200-pounder is now looking at his options for his college choice. He's also got his first official visit set up for this weekend.

"I'm about to take an trip to Kansas this weekend," Boyd-Anderson said. "That's it for now. There aren't really any others set up right now."
His favorite school was Missouri, but the need at running back was filled. Now, Boyd-Anderson says that he has his eye on two other schools.
"It's probably between Kansas and Iowa right now," Farmer said. "I'll probably visit Iowa after Kansas. I also might visit Kansas State as well, but I'm not sure yet."
The visit to see the Jayhawks has a lot to do with their continued attention.
"They were the first school to really initiate contact with me and go through the process of setting up the trip," he said. "I've been talking to them ever since the end of the season."
