"Doug Worthington and Maurice Wells were my hosts. They showed me pretty much what Ohio State has to offer. They kept it real. They're out-of-state recruits too. They said if you work hard and are the best player, you'll play. That's what I wanted to hear.
"I loved the people and the support they give the football players up there."
Bowman was asked to compare his official visits to Ohio State and Penn State.
"Both are great universities," Bowman said. "I'm just going to sit down at the end and think where I want to stay the next four years of my life.
"I visit Virginia Tech Nov. 5 and Tennessee Dec. 10. I'll visit Florida, but I'm not sure when I'll go there."
The 6-foot-0 and 218-pound Bowman is the No. 11 inside linebacker prospect in the Rivals.com player rankings, and the No. 8 prospect in the state of Maryland.
