Richmond (Va.) Hermitage linebacker Andrew Bowman has cancelled his last official visit and could be ready to decide any day now.
"I'm not going to North Carolina this weekend," said the 6-foot-1, 220-pounder. "I just don't feel like it and I pretty much know what schools I like and who I will choose between anyhow."
Bowman, who visited Tennessee, Virginia, Purdue and Virginia Tech, is down to three teams.
"It's pretty much Virginia, Virginia Tech and Tennessee," he said. "I'd say the two in-state schools have the edge, but Tennessee is still in there. I could decide anytime, I just need to think about things and do some comparison."
Bowman is ranked as the No. 29 linebacker in the country by Rivals.com. He had long been considered a Virginia Tech lean, but insists there is no frontrunner at this time.
"It's even between the two in-state schools and I have teammates at each place," he said. "But that won't be a factor anyhow, it's all about academics, playing time and how I can impact at any of the three places."
