Bower talks visits, UF

Tashawn Bower's highly publicized soft commitment to Auburn could be nearing its end. The defensive end from Somerville (N.J.) Immaculata visited Florida State on January 11, Florida on January 18 and will visit LSU on January 25.
"The Florida State visit was pretty good," said the 6-foot-5, 241-pound Bower. "I think I got a good jumpstart on my relationship with Coach Pruitt and Coach Sal.

"This weekend at Florida I got to see some of the athletic facilities and talk with some the academic staff," he said. "After that I met some of the players and hung out with them. Then I had dinner with some of the coaches and we went to the basketball game.
"I've never been to LSU before but I've heard a lot of great things about it," Bower said. "I have a good relationship with the defensive line coach. He's been up to see me bunch of times but I haven't really talked anybody else except for Coach Miles."
It is not a certainty that Bower will de-commit. He is going to take an unofficial visit to Auburn the weekend before signing day.
"I just want to see everybody in person at Auburn again," said Bower. "I want to get a feel for everyone knew that there like at it with the old stuff.
"Me flipping really depends on how the visits go," he said. "I'll put the positives and negatives together for each school and kind go from there."
Bower said he will make his decision on Signing Day.
