THE LATEST: Bowen has Baylor No. 1 on his list, but USC is his dream school and he wants to take a visit during the season. The plan is to visit USC during Byron Nelson's bye week. That is the week the Trojans host Stanford (Sept. 19). He also mentioned visits to Michigan, Oregon, and Arizona State, but he state his recruiting process was "pretty much" down to Baylor and USC.
IN HIS WORDS: "Right now my No. 1 is still Baylor, but my dream school is still USC so I'm still waiting on that. I'll go over there sometime during our bye week, so I'm going to get over there and see it. Now my decision is probably going to be during the season, so I'm waiting on that."
RIVALS REACTION: Baylor is the team to beat but USC is far from an afterthought. If the Trojans officially offer and the vsit goes well USC could vault to the front. Right now though Baylor has put themselves in a strong position. Baylor defensive line coach Chris Achuff has developed a strong relationship and Bowen knows he likes the environment.
