Boston College offers Ellis

Miami (Fla.) Gulliver Prep running back Bo Ellis landed an offer from Boston College on Thursday.
"I talked to the new running backs coach (Jim Bollman)," Ellis said. "He said they like the way I run when they watched the film. He said all of the coaches really liked it. He said that is why they offered. He said he likes that I run hard."

The 5-foot-9, 185-pound back already held an offer from Bowling Green. He knows a bit about Frank Spaziani's Eagles.
"I know a little bit about it," Ellis said of Boston College. "I know they have a very good academic program. I know that they had a 14-year streak of bowl games until last year."
The South Florida prospect is planning to visit the school in the coming months.
"I think we are supposed to go there this spring," Ellis said. "I am probably going up there with some teammates."
While he has just two offers, Ellis reports interest from a number of other schools.
"Georgia Tech, Duke, Florida International, Purdue, Wake Forest, and West Virginia are some of the schools showing me interest," Ellis said. "I think Duke and FIU are close to offering."
Ellis has yet to take any visits but is planning to see some schools in the coming months.
"I am supposed to go to Miami for a Junior Day on the 14th of April. I am also supposed to go, me and a couple of teammates, up to Georgia Tech for a Junior Day. I am also supposed to go to Duke's spring game," Ellis said.
At this stage of the process, Ellis is looking at any and all interested parties.
"No one school is in the spotlight right now," Ellis said.
As a junior, Ellis rushed for 1,299 yards on 167 attempts. He scored nine touchdowns.
