Borg looks good at Nike camp

A player we had high expectations for heading in to the Nike Camp at Stanford was Tucson (Ariz.) Ironwood Ridge offensive lineman Daniel Borg. We became fans for Borg's ability after seeing his highlite tape and like him even more after seeing him in person two weeks ago.
Borg was easily one of the top five offensive linemen at the NorCal Nike Camp and is a very good looking player. At 6-5, 286 pounds, he has a great frame and looks like a college player right now. Borg moves well, although his overall quickness is probably the one area that he could improve on, has long arms and is a tough, competitive player. The Nike camp coaches all commented that Borg was a player who likes to be coached, works hard and only needs to be told something once.

The big lineman clocked a 5.44 in the 40, jumped 25 inches in the vertical and did 22 reps on the bench. He was one of the standouts in the one on one drills as well and had a very good overall camp.
On the recruiting front, Borg currently has offers from all of his favorites.
"I like Washington, Nebraska, Oregon, Oregon State, Arizona and Northwestern and all of them have offered," Borg said. "I'm not looking to make an early decision, I want to take my trips first before I decide anything."
Academically, Borg is carrying a 4.1 GPA and scored an 1180 on the SAT.
