Borcich is biding his time

Bronxville, N.Y. defensive end Kieran Borcich is one of the state's top junior prospects and he has an offer list that includes several Division I programs.
While some prospects are eager to get the recruiting process over with, Borcich appears to be content to sit back and let things play out.

"We're still pretty early in this whole process so we're just looking at all my options. First we were looking at schools locally and in the area, and then schools out of the area," Borcich explained.
"I guess location will be a factor but definitely not the most important factor. Definitely the most important thing is finding a good coaching staff and guys I can identify with and see myself playing with."
Borcich is planning on taking visits to Maryland and Duke in the spring. He said both schools have extended offers, as have Baylor, Rutgers and Boston College.
The talented defensive lineman also wants to make return trips to Rutgers and Boston College. In addition to those schools he has been hearing consistently from Northwestern, Stanford and UConn.
No one is quite sure whether Borcich will play defensive end or defensive tackle in college, but he is convinced he will play on the defensive side of the ball.
