Booth ready to re-start recruiting

Rivals250 wide receiver Dominique Booth was within hours of making his commitment last month when he put the brakes on his recruitment. Now, over a month later, Booth may be ready to get back in the recruiting game.
"I am actually about to," Booth said. "I haven't been doing a lot. In the next week I am supposed to talk with my dad about it and figure out what I can do."

In the last month Booth has had minimal contact with college coaches and also limited his college campus visits.
"I went on one, but it wasn't really a [recruiting] visit," Booth said. "I went down [to Tennessee] and hung out with the commits I knew. I went down there and had a good time with them."
Booth doesn't consider his most recent trip to Knoxville, which took place the weekend of June 14, much of a recruiting trip because he did not do the usual recruit activities.
"I didn't even really talk to the coaches much about recruiting," he said. "They were respecting that I wanted my space right now."
In recent months, Tennessee commits like Jalen Hurd, Ethan Wolf and Todd Kelly have included Booth in their group chats and he has gotten to know them well.
"Todd has been texting me ever since I got an offer from Tennessee," Booth said. "He has been knowing me for a long time and I guess the coaches told him to stay on me."
Tennessee was part of the top four Booth had in place going into his planned commitment at the end of May. Alabama, Florida State and Vanderbilt were also in that group, but as he re-enters the next phase of his recruitment Booth is open to looking at new schools.
"I still have those four, then I have opened it up to some more schools," Booth said. "My coach asked me that same question because a lot of schools are hitting him up. I told him I am open to hear from schools I'm interested in, but I really want to find that one school for me and be done with it.
"It's something I want to get done before my season because I don't want to be distracting to my teammates. We have a really big season this year."
Among the other schools Booth has said he is listening to now are Indiana, Missouri, Miami, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.
