Booth-Lloyd talks GT offer

Class of 2014 Cocoa (Fla.) guard Freddie Booth-Lloyd made the most of his recent trip through Georgia, turning in an excellent performance on Friday night's Dawg Night event and besting it with a strong showing at Georgia Tech on Sunday.
While he didn't leave Athens with an offer, the Yellow Jackets did pull the trigger on an offer late Sunday.

"I love everything about the campus and the program has lots of tradition," Booth-Lloyd said. "They play hard nose football and that's exactly the way I like to play."
He added that he thinks he could be a good fit in Georgia Tech's unique offense because it's similar to the one he plays in now.
"The run the same offense as my high school," Booth-Lloyd said. "So me playing the deadly position of guard is just perfect."
Georgia Tech joins schools like Iowa State and Michigan State on Booth-Lloyd's offer list. He said the Yellow Jackets have quickly moved into the mix of his favorite schools, which also includes Tulane, Miami, Georgia, Tennessee and LSU. Of his favorites, only the Green Wave and Yellow Jackets have offered.
