"I'll probably measure the rest of them against Virginia Tech, since it was the first one," the 6-foot-3, 258-pound prospect said. "I had a good time on the visit there and they set the bar high. I wouldn't call them my leader, because I don't have one until I visit all my schools, but it was good.
The 6-foot-3, 258-pounder has visits remaining with Maryland (Dec. 17), West Virginia (Jan. 14) and North Carolina (Jan. 21). He was going to visit Pitt, but "with coach Harris leaving, they're out."
The three-star athlete can play a host of different position on defense or offense. However, he has one simple preference.
"Quarterback," Boone said.
Boone said he will take all his visits before making a decision.
