Boone gets another offer

Junior Alex Boone is the top offensive line prospect in the Midwest, one of the nation's best at his position, and one of Ohio's top two overall prospects.
The 6-foot-8 and 300 pound Boone, from Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edwards, led his team to a 9-1 record during his junior season.

Boone bench presses 310 pounds, squats 525, and runs the 40 yard dash in 5.1 seconds. He has a 2.9 GPA.
On Saturday Boone attended Ohio State's junior day, then was one of six Ohio juniors honored at the Columbus Touchdown Club Banquet that night.
"It was really good," Boone said of the banquet. "There were a lot of incredible players there. A lot of Hall of Famers."
When asked about the Buckeyes junior day Boone had this to say.
"It was good. I got to go to the basketball game. Unfortunately they lost. The facilities are really nice."
"I'm trying to get some things worked out so I could graduate early, but I don't know for sure."
"I'll probably go to Ohio State's camp this summer. And maybe Michigan's."
Boone said the Wolverines recently offered a full scholarship, but he remains committed to Ohio State.
