Booker T. studs still looking

Tulsa (Okla.) Booker T. Washington is home to a few of the top prospects in the Midlands Region and one of the nation’s top receiver prospects in Robert Meachem. Some have made commitments and others have not.
Despite making a commitment to UCLA, defensive end Chadd Evans is currently on an official visit to Colorado. Evans said earlier this week that he wasn’t sure if he’s going, but his assistant coach Greg Nash confirmed to Rivals100 that he’s currently in Boulder.

“He’s up there at Colorado right now,” Nash said. “I don’t know what this means about his commitment. We just know that he’s up there on a visit.”
Evans was expected to be joined by teammate Mark Brown, but the two-star cornerback didn’t make the trip.
“Oklahoma is going to come by here tomorrow and visit with him,” Nash said. “They offered him at one point and we think they still might be interested in him. It’s probably OU or KU for him.”
Brown visited Kansas this past weekend.
Then there is Meachem, the five-star receiver.
Nash confirmed that Meachem did have an excellent official visit to Oklahoma this past weekend and then followed that up with a solid visit to LSU and Baton Rouge. He left this morning for Tennessee and is expected the visit to Knoxville is his final official visit.
Meachem, according to sources, is believed to be leaning heavily toward Oklahoma.
So when will we know a final answer on all of these players? Nash said it might not be until signing day.
“Chadd’s mother is organizing something for signing day,” Nash said. “We’re not sure when it’s going to be yet.”
Earlier this week, Evans said he believed the signing day ceremony would be at 11 a.m. on February 5.
