Bolden wants attention like teammates

CEDAR HILL, Texas - It surprised offensive guard prospect Nigel Bolden that he had no offers up to this point in his senior year, but that doesn't mean that some offers could still be entering the picture in the coming months.
Bolden has received steady interest from SMU, Louisiana-Monroe, and a few other programs so far. He would also like to hear from one Big 12 school as well, but is still just waiting to see what happens before he makes any assumptions.

"I'm getting a lot of interest from a lot of schools, but I'd still like to hear from Texas A&M," Bolden said. "I mean I've always gotten letters from them, but there hasn't been anything about an offer yet. SMU and Louisiana-Monroe are also in there showing me some attention."
With the Aggies being a favorite, Bolden also is staying open to find the best situation. Right now he says the main reason he has been noticed is because of the great offensive line tradition at Cedar Hill High School.
"We're real athletic and we get after it," Bolden said about his teammates. "It still allows me to send film to a lot of schools and show not just what I can do, but what we do on a weekly basis."
Bolden says he plans to make some visits soon. He would like to get up to the three schools that are showing the most interest. Other than that, he'd like to finish with some honors.
"I want to make first-team all-district and of course just get my first scholarship offer," he said.
