Bolden to reschedule UW

One of the most impressive players that participated in the O-D All-American game was running back Omar Bolden (5-11, 185, 4.4) from Ontario (Calif.) Colony. Bolden was scheduled to take a visit to Washington this weekend.
"I didn't take my visit to Washington this weekend because I was playing in the Offense-Defense All-American game," Bolden said. "I have rescheduled my Washington visit to the last weekend of January (Jan. 26th)."

"I don't know much about Nebraska, but I'm looking forward to my visit this coming weekend (Jan. 12th)," Bolden said. "I really don't much about Oregon State another school that I will be visiting.
"The only school that is recruiting me that I know about is USC."
At one time it looked like the door was closing with USC as far as recruiting Bolden, but as of late the Trojans have reemerged as a player in Bolden's recruitment.
"I grew up in the Southern California area so it was easy for me to follow them," Bolden said. "I don't have an offer from USC and for them to really be in the picture they would have to offer a scholarship."
Bolden was one of the standouts in the recent Offense-Defense All-American game rushing for 81 yards on 8 carries. He also returned a kickoff 40 yards.
Bolden made his presence felt on both sides of the ball during the season of 2006.
As a running back, Bolden rushed for 2,003 yards and 25 touchdowns with a long run of 78 yards. Out of the backfield, Bolden caught nine passes for 150 yards and one more touchdown.
On the defensive side of the ball, Bolden was a jack-of-all-trades lining up at cornerback, safety and linebacker racking up 77 tackles, three sacks, one deflected pass and one blocked punt.
The talented two-way standout was one of the main reasons that Colony won their first ever CIF Championship in 2006.
Bolden's success wasn't a fluke as he has been making it happen for Colony ever since his sophomore season when he was an all-state selection.
