Bolden lands his first offer

Winchester (Va.) Millbrook offensive lineman A.J. Bolden landed his first offer last week. The 6-foot-4, 300-pounder got the scholarship from out-of-state after a trip to campus.
"I got the offer from Buffalo," he said. "They offered last week. I flew up there and went to their junior day. The day after I called and they told me they wanted to offer me a scholarship."

For Bolden, it was his first offer.
"I was excited to get it," he said. "I told them I'd like to explore my options and give everybody an equal opportunity to see which places fits me the best.
"Buffalo is a really good school and close to home. I just don't want to say too much cause I want to evaluate everybody. I can say the coaches really care there. They showed us a lot of special attention."
After to the trip to Buffalo, Bolden made visits to Duke and North Carolina.
"I visited Duke and North Carolina," he said. "Duke was very nice and a very beautiful campus. I got to see them practice and the first day of pads.
"North Carolina was a huge chance too. I got to see everything with their football program and the buildings around the stadium. It was a good experience. I talked to some of the coaches and they want to see me at camp."
Though he's working on more visits, Bolden has yet to line any up.
