Boise State gets NorCal OL

Stockton (Calif.) St. Mary's offensive guard John Nisby took an official visit to Boise State last weekend, but he left the trip without a scholarship offer. Well the offer officially came earlier today and it was one that he didn't take long to accept.

"You called at a good time," Nisby, who is 6-foot-2 and 274 pounds, said. "I just committed to Boise State today. They called and offered me a scholarship, and I accepted right away."
Nisby also had an offer from Nevada and was getting recruited also by Arizona said the decision to commit to the Broncos was an easy one.
"When I took the trip, I just felt it was the right place for me," he said. "I just felt really comfortable there."
Nisby said he was recruited by Boise State running back coach Jeff Choate. Coach Choate also played a role in his decision to pick the Broncos.
"He was a really cool coach," Nisby said. "He was honest with me throughout the entire process. He told me when I could expect an offer, and when it came, I was happy to tell them yes."
Nisby earned all-section and all-area honors as both a junior and a senior. Nisby was an all-state, all-area, and all-league first-team selection as a junior.
