Boilermakers land California DE

It took just one official visit for Riverside (Calif.) Community College defensive end Jeff Benjamin to select a college.
"I visited Purdue and I committed," Benjamin said. "The way they were talking to me saying they really need defensive ends, that was exactly what I wanted to hear.

"Michigan State was saying about the same things, but I was pretty set on Purdue.
"I was supposed to visit Michigan State next weekend, but when they call Monday I'm going to tell them I made my decision.
"I'll have two years to play two seasons at Purdue."
The 6-foot-3 and 270 pound Benjamin made 60 tackles including 15 sacks this season for Riverside Community College.
