Bogan battling through tough season

The junior season for Jamauri Bogan of Union, N.J. has not entirely gone to script because of an ankle injury, but the exciting running back is almost back to 100% and is now ready for a strong finish in the playoffs and a few visits afterwards.
"I got hurt early on, but now I'm getting healthier by the week," said Bogan. "I didn't miss any time. I played through my injury, but it was a bad ankle sprain. Now I'm back to breaking the long run and being able to make that sharp cut and go."
His play during the last two games has definitely proven that he is almost back to his old self.
"I had 14 carries for 140 yards and three touchdowns during the last game, and the game prior I had a 73 yard kick return for a touchdown and two rushing touchdowns," said Bogan.
Even with his injury, Bogan has still seen consistent recruiting interest come his way.
"It's still going well for me," he said. "I haven't been really looking into it though, but it's going well. Georgia Tech, West Virginia, Toledo and UCLA are showing the most interest now."
With the injury and his season, Bogan has been unable to take any visits during the fall to this point, but he is looking to change that.
"I've been focusing on my season and my team," said Bogan. "I think I'm going to get out soon though. I'd like to visit Pitt, West Virginia, UCLA and Georgia Tech."
When he does hit the road, he will be looking for a trio of important things.
"I'm looking for a great city, great fans and a place with great college life," said Bogan.
