TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Three-star offensive lineman Ander Bodkin from Marianna (Fla.) recently visited one of his two favorites.

The 6-foot-5, 276-pound offensive lineman talked a bit more about his time at the University of Kentucky.
"It was great," Bodkin said. "It was wonderful. The town of Lexington and the coaches are great up there. I love the strength and conditioning coach up there. I like him because he really knows how to work you. I like the teammates up there, because they are very close, they have a good relationship, and they are building something up there. I think Kentucky is really going to rise and be a really good team in the SEC in a couple of years."
Bodkin has developed a strong relationship with his prospective position coach at Kentucky.
"Coach (Mike) Summers is just an awesome coach," Bodkin said. "I like the way he coaches and all of the things he does for the team."
During his visit, Bodkin was able to speak with Summers and head coach Joker Phillips during his visit. The two gave him some insight on how he fits into their plans if he opts for the SEC school.
"They told me that when they get me up there they are going to put me at left tackle," Bodkin said. "I think they probably will redshirt me my first year and I think that would be good for me. At the same time, I think there is a chance to play there early. I like that."
Bodkin doesn't have a specific timeline for a decision. He is hoping to receive some additional offers between now and National Signing Day.
"I am just waiting to hear back from coaches," Bodkin said. "I am staying in contact with coaches from Florida State, Georgia, Auburn, and all of them. When I can, I am going to get into contact with them and see if they still have interest in me."
The Sunshine State prospect mentioned that he will likely take an official visit to Kentucky for their game against South Carolina. He also mentioned an interest in using an official visit to South Florida. Other possible destinations include Auburn, Florida State, and Georgia according to Bodkin.
