Bluegrass WR nearing new offer

Georgetown (Ky.) Scott County wide receiver William Lewis already has one scholarship offer, but is expecting at least one more to follow any day now. Interest in Lewis has picked up after a big senior season.
“Pittsburgh has basically verbally offered me,” Lewis said. “They told me that they would be sending me a written offer in the next couple of weeks. They told me that they were going to come down and see me in December. Minnesota is another school that has been showing me a lot of interest lately.”

Lewis attended the NIKE camp in Atlanta where he measured in at 6-foot-3.5, weighed 195 pounds and ran a 4.62 second 40-yard dash.
“I have not set up any official visits yet,” Lewis said. “When Marshall calls back this week we are going to set one up. I went to the Michigan-Michigan State game this past weekend. That was a really good game. I am going to the Kentucky-Georgia game this weekend and I know that I am going to see Pittsburgh play on Thanksgiving Day.”
As a junior he caught 23 passes for 325 yards and three touchdowns for a team that runs the wing T offense.
