Cumberland's
Eddie
Creech added to his impressive career statistics by throwing for 186
yards and three touchdowns to spearhead a 30-22 victory over county rival Cawood.
With that effort, he eclipsed the 6,000-yard plateau and pushed his touchdown
pass total to 68.
He also ran for a touchdown, helping account for 24 of the
Redskins' 30 points on the night. Senior wideout Matt Haynes was his favorite
target, hauling in five passes for 70 yards and all three scores (6, 21 and 26
yards).
Creech (6-1, 187, 4.65) is receiving interest from
Kentucky, Louisville, Illinois, Northwestern, Purdue, Wisconsin and Eastern
Kentucky, among others.
