Vincent's mom has made it clear that Vincent will not be going to the University of Texas and it looks like he will not be playing in state either. Two others are ruled out.
Rivals 100 quarterback Vincent Young has offers from Texas, Miami, Kansas, Kansas State, Tennessee, Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio State, Florida State, Iowa State, Louisiana State and many others totaling about 45 offers.
"We've ruled out Texas as Vincent has decided that he probably won't stay in the state of Texas to play in college," Mrs. Young said. "We have also ruled out Florida State and Miami as he's looking towards the smaller colleges, not one of the big names, " Mrs. Young said.
He attended the LSU camp and the Elite Camp in California and may attend ex-Giant's back Rodney Hamilton's camp later this month. "The scholarship offer will be the deciding factor in the decision along with academics and playing time. He wants to play both sports wherever he goes," Mrs. Young said.
Vincent is also a basketball player. His first game of this season is September 7th at Butler Aldine High School.
