Blue-Chipper Set To Narrow List

Nate Schiccatano plans to narrow his list of colleges down in the next couple of days and said last night to expect at least one Big Ten school to be on that narrowed down list.
"I haven't narrowed it down yet," Schiccatano said late Tuesday night. "Hopefully I'll do that by Thursday or Friday and have it down to five or less. But there is a very, very good chance Ohio State will be on the list. I was very impressed when I was there. After I narrow it down, I'll try to keep narrowing it down till I pick a college. If it goes through the season, then I'll start to take official visits."
As far as the speculation that Schiccatano will eventually end up signing with Notre Dame, he responded, "I don't know where anyone would get that from. I'm interested in Notre Dame, but they don't have the lead or anything." Schiccatano (6'3 215 4.45), from Catawissa Southern Columbia (PA), is being recruited as an athlete who could play running back, wide receiver, or defensive back in college. He has visited Ohio State, Notre Dame, Penn State, Michigan State, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Iowa, North Carolina, Maryland, Virginia Tech, and Duke, and all have offered a scholarship.
